RTI Awards For Design and Public Safety

American Road and Transportation Builder's Association (ARTBA) and National Safety Council
2002 -- Renaissance Technologies was awarded Innovation in Technology First Place for its work zone intelligent transportation system and public real-time traffic conditions web site at the reconstruction of Florida's Peace River Bridge on I-75 near Port Charlotte.
Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania (TCCP)
2009 -- Renaissance Technologies was selected as a finalist (among over 100 technology firms) for Product of the Year for its Enhanced Variable Speed Limit System controlling the speed limits at the Telegraph Road Interchange Reconstruction on the Washington D.C. beltway.
Woodrow Wilson Bridge
2009 -- As one element of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge reconstruction, Renaissance Technologies' Enhanced Variable Speed Limit System was honored as part of the Gustov Lindenthal Medal award from the International Bridge Conference (IBC).  This Medal is awarded for a single, recent outstanding achievement demonstrating harmony with the environment, aesthetic merit and successful community participation.  Past recipients include:
